How It Works

Every Cora and Violet piece is cut and sewn by hand in our small studio in rural Ohio. Here is what to expect when you order.

1. Choose her dress

Pick your design and size. Not sure which size? Our Size Guide walks you through it. For first birthdays, our most popular size is 6–18 months.

2. We make it just for her

Made-to-order pieces are cut and sewn especially for you. The current turnaround is listed on each product page, right above Add to Cart. That is always the most up-to-date timeline, as it can change during busy seasons.

3. It ships to you, anywhere in the world

Once her piece is finished, we pack it with care and send it on its way. Shipping time is added after your piece is finished. US orders over $300 ship free, and we ship worldwide via UPS. See Shipping & Delivery for details.

Need it sooner?

• Ready to Ship: already sewn and waiting for a home. These pieces leave our studio in 1–3 business days. Shop Ready to Ship
• Rush My Order: a limited number of rush orders each month, with the turnaround listed on the Rush My Order page. Learn more

Planning around a special date?

Please allow for the handmade turnaround plus shipping time. Orders placed with fewer than three business days before your needed date cannot be guaranteed due to carrier delays. Business days are Monday through Friday, not including holidays.

Ordering made-to-order and Ready to Ship together? We keep your order together and ship everything once your made-to-order piece is finished. Need your Ready to Ship pieces sooner? Simply place them as a separate order.
